Safety guidance, not a guarantee
PackSignal’s paw-safety check, weather outlook, health estimates and first-aid content are modelled guidance to help you make decisions — they are not veterinary or medical advice, and no model replaces your own judgement. Always confirm surface temperature with the back-of-hand test, and see a vet for any health concern. In an emergency, contact a vet or the Animal Poisons Helpline (1300 869 738) immediately.
Community content
Hazard reports, lost & found posts, community places and Park posts are contributed by users and are unverified. Use them as leads, not facts. When posting, you agree to post honestly, to include only information and media you are entitled to share, and never to post content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, sexually explicit, cruel to animals, or targets any person. Do not post children, private addresses, number plates or people who have not agreed to appear. We may remove content and restrict or ban accounts that abuse the service.
Council data
Off-leash boundaries and rules are sourced from council open data and are provided as-is; councils change rules faster than data updates. On-site signage always prevails.
Subscriptions
PackSignal Pack is an optional auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple account. It renews until cancelled in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before the period ends. The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial; cancelling before the trial ends means you are not charged. Safety features are never behind the paywall.
Acceptable use
Don’t use PackSignal to harass, stalk, or endanger any person or animal; don’t scrape or resell the service; don’t misrepresent hazards or lost-dog reports.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the Australian Consumer Law, PackSignal is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on modelled guidance or community content. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian law.
